Personal data is processed only insofar as this is necessary to provide the website, handle enquiries, perform orders and contracts, process payments, ship goods, comply with legal obligations, or where appropriate consent has been given.

When the website is visited, technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser, operating system, referrer URL and technical device information may be processed. Processing serves in particular to provide the website securely and reliably.

When you contact us, the information you provide is processed to handle your enquiry. The 3D printing service may process STL, 3MF, CAD, image, drawing or other files, as well as dimensions and technical requirements. Processing serves in particular to initiate and perform the contract.

Where customer accounts are offered, data such as name, email address, billing and delivery address, and order and download information may be processed. For orders, the contact, order, payment-status and shipping information required to perform the contract is processed.

Depending on the order, PayPal, bank transfer, credit card and platform payment services may be used. The data required for payment processing is transmitted to the relevant payment service provider or participating credit institution.

For shipping physical goods, the data required for delivery, in particular name and delivery address, is transmitted to DHL. Additional contact details are transmitted only where there is an appropriate legal basis.

For sales and communication via Etsy or eBay, personal data is processed both by the relevant platform and — insofar as required for contract processing, communication, shipping or legal obligations — by Grimm3D. The platforms' privacy policies apply to their independent processing of data.

When digital products are purchased, customer and account data, the file or licence purchased, time of order, payment status and technical information for provision or download may be processed, insofar as the system used records such information.

Technically necessary cookies or similar technologies may be used for operation, shopping basket, customer account, security and the ordering process. Technologies that are not technically necessary are used only on an applicable legal basis or with the required consent.

Check before publication: cookie banner and, where applicable, Google Analytics, Google Maps, YouTube, Meta/Facebook Pixel, Google Fonts, reCAPTCHA or other external services.

Data is stored only for as long as required for the relevant purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. Recipients may include payment service providers, banks, shipping providers, IT/hosting providers, Etsy, eBay, tax advisers and competent authorities.
